Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies, such as local browser storage, can also remember information about your visit or preferences.
Cookies we currently use
The BM Couriers website currently uses strictly necessary first-party cookies to keep signed-in customer and administrator sessions secure. These cookies are required for the service you request and are not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
bm_customer_session | Keeps a customer securely signed in to the customer account and booking portal. | Strictly necessary | Up to 7 days |
bm_admin_session | Keeps authorised BM Couriers administrators securely signed in to the admin area. | Strictly necessary | Up to 12 hours |
Cookie notice preference
If you dismiss our cookie notice, the website may remember that choice in local browser storage so the notice does not repeatedly appear. This preference does not contain booking, payment or account information.
Optional analytics and advertising cookies
We do not currently set optional analytics, advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies in the BM Couriers website code. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and provide controls so they are not set until the required consent has been given.
Third-party services
Some services you choose to use may take you to a third-party website, for example a secure payment page. Those third parties may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Their cookies are not controlled by BM Couriers once you are using the third party's website.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent account sign-in, secure portal functions or other requested website features from working correctly.
Changes to this policy
We will review this policy when the website changes or when we add new technologies that store or access information on a user's device.
